A blog dedicated to the history of my childhood hometown. Friday, 17 July 2015. I know that I have been away for several months but I plan to resume blog posts in the very near future - both here, and at my other blog site A Pocket Full of Family Memories. I cannot guarantee the posts will be as regular as they once were, but I will definitely be keeping this local history blog site running so please do re-visit from time to time and you just may find a new post. Thank you! Monday, 22 December 2014.

It has a history in Shaolin Temple, but if this makes you think of hard and external exercises that only the young can manage, then think again. Traditional skills are very balanced so everyone can do them, otherwise they would not have stood the test of time. Master Michael Tse learnt this skill from his Sifu Master Wu Chun Yuen who learnt it from his Sifu, Wang Ping. Friday, 3 June 2016.
